Day 6— What Moment This Past Week Are You Most Thankful For?


The Week Today is the weekend, and in between partying or relaxing around the home, I urge you to take a moment to reflect on this past week. Think about one moment that was truly amazing or brought a warm-fuzzy feeling to your heart.

Don’t read too much into it. It could be anything from your baby smiling at you or your boss thanking you for turning in an amazing report. Whatever it was that made you smile and generate thanks for the moment.

As we reflect on the week, it’s easy to focus on the negatives. What we didn’t get done, what we should have done, and how that lack of productivity will affect the coming week. Instead of focusing on the negatives, we need to take a breath and think deeply about what we already have and how far we’ve come. Pausing from our busy schedule, even on the weekend, can give us the space we need to embrace our achievement’s, instead of focusing solely on our failures.

We are limitless beings, and in the coming week, keep an eye out for the amazing things that come your way, and write them down in your journal. Describe how they make you feel and embrace that feeling.
