Top Five Female Bloggers that Inspire Me

1. Marie Forleo. http://www.marieforleo.com

For me, Marie is the end all and be all of female entrepreneurship and blogging. She is smart, savvy, and not afraid to fail. I resonate with her story of working two jobs to achieve her dreams. She wouldn’t settle for anything (not even a spot on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange), in place of doing what she loved . And today she is the founder of MarieTV, a bestselling author, and has over 200,000 readers of her website and blog. I aspire to be like her (with an Alanna flair of course) and one of my biggest dreams is to be mentored by her.

2. Gina Trapani http://lifehacker.com

Can you say Cha-Ching? Gina inspires me to write better content for the web surfers out there, and to make money doing it. She earns a hot $110,000 a month off her extremely popular blog/website lifehacker.com.  For those nah-sayers out there that claim you can’t make money blogging, I beg you to take a gander at Gina’s website popularity.

3. Jenny Lawson. http://thebloggess.com/

In a word, she is hilarious. My favorite part of her blog is her conversations with Victor, her husband, and the antics of her cat. They are enough to get you really LOLing in the best possible way. She isn’t afraid to use the F-word and has a Bestselling New York Times book available online. She is inspiring to me because she does what she wants and found that blogging was a much better fit than working for a news paper.

4. Meryl K. Evans. http://www.meryl.net/about/

Meryl is a talented web marketer and business entrepreneur who has an impressive resume to boot. Her blog focuses on how to write for new media. As a budding writer I value her blogs and the indispensable information she shares with her followers.
